Welcome, I am Michael Stafford Jr. I earned my B.S. in Applied Kinesiology from Rutgers, the State University of NJ. Following graduation, I taught English abroad in Spain for a year before eventually fostering home ownership & financial freedom for families across the US in my role as a licensed Senior Loan Advisor.
Over the past few years, I've honed my technical skills, gained my Security+ certification, and completed several Python projects and modules to gain hands on experience that'll empower me to safeguard network and data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The soft skills developed as an experienced consultant and teacher, allow me to excel at proactively addressing client needs and collaborating across diverse teams to drive efficient and accurate outcomes.

Python Projects
Completed several Python projects to gain familiarity with the language and to gain hands-on experience with scripting and basic task automation. Projects range from network security to server implementation, and ChatGPT integration onto local systems.

Security+ Certification
Successfully obtained the Security+ certification, demonstrating knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices. It developed my skills in securing computer systems and networks, around topics such as threats, vulnerabilities, technologies, access management, risk management, cryptography, and incident response.

Transitioning from the Mortgage Industry
Working in the finance industry exposed me to the security risks and dangers that exist in the market for consumers and corporations that are typically overlooked. After securing my home network and server, I continued down the path of Cybersecurity. I've set up a ticketing system for family and friends where I assist them with their technical issues through Peppermint.sh.
